How do I connect using Wi-Fi 6E

I have the Telus Boost Wi-Fi 6E access point (the white trash can). My computer supports Wi-Fi 6E, but is connecting to the 5 GHz band. How can I connect using the 6 GHz band? Thanks, Shane.

I was unaware of the wifi6 until I saw my cell phone connect to it.

How did you determine the computer supports wifi 6?

    The product specifications say it has "Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (2x2); HP Extended Range Wireless LAN; Modern Standby (Connected)".

    I don't know what extended range wireless LAN is.
