Global News not recording
Global News at 6:00 pm is not recording even though it is scheduled and appears on the scheduled list on my pvr. I have been recording this for years without a problem until the last three months. Every other recording is fine. Can you look into this?
- I was able to reschedule these programs after restarting my digital box. This seems to have fixed the issue I was having 😀🤞

Should it happen again. It has happened several times now.
When this occurred for me the first time, I was told that series recordings will work only if the show is embedded with code as a part of the series of the scheduled recording. Does not read the guide name and time but the code.
Do remember that most live broadcast can be viewed within at least 24 hours, but maybe 48. Just scroll back in guide and press play.

That's definitely odd. Have you tried removing the recording from your scheduled list and re-adding it? Or trying to record it from a different channel (if it's airing simultaneously on a different channel as well) ?
- echabanNeighbourIt appears to be just the news channels as I tried to record both BBC News and Global Tv news at 11:00 pm yesterday. Neither show recorded although they both appeared in my scheduled list for yesterday.This morning I cancelled the series record for these shows and restarted my digital box. Then I set a new recording for tonight.Hopefully this will solve this issue with news channels. I will let you know what happens tomorrow.
