Fast Forwarding is not permitted
I've recently been getting this error while using the Telus TV+ app on Apple TV: "Fast forwarding is not permitted by the content provider."
I can restart a program to the beginning after it's started but I can't seem to be able to fast forward or make a selection after it starts playing. It seems to do this with every channel and program now. Is anyone else having this issue?
If you are getting that message while watching on demand content, that is not unusual. I only see that message with on demand content from certain providers so it will depend on which broadcaster aired the content. Global TV is one broadcaster that definitely blocks fast forwarding on demand content.

Actually you get that with live TV in progress if you restart it will not let you skip forward for some. Usually prime time when advertisers want to be seen.
