Digital box going to sleep
Hi, I have the new digital box and even though I have the settings for screen saver set to “never” and for power and energy I have both inactive and watching set to “never” it still insists on checki...
Agree…. Very frustrating for seniors who can’t figure out how to get back to regular tv channel. It gets stuck in Home Screen.
That one is easy! Just hit OK or the “back”arrow.
- Back arrow just gets stuck for me. I have no ok button on new remote and so I have to shut it down and turn on again then the home button again.

All of the TELUS remotes made since 2015 have an OK button in the middle of the direction-pad. Might you be using another remote? Perhaps the remote that came with your TV? The newest ones look like this:

You actually have a couple of easy shortcuts so you don't have to keep restarting.
First, the center button inside the directional pad acts as your OK button, which should clear the screen. You can also just hit the Live TV button (the little TV icon) to bypass the home menu and jump straight back to your show.
