Decipher what connect app wifi means
Can anyone help me decipher what the boost wifi symbols mean in the connect app. I have my network hub/modem in the basement and it has a boost wifi beside it hardwired in. Then I have a second boost on my main floor hardwired through Ethernet. Both of the boosts have a green functioning light but my internet isn’t working great.

The green lights on both Boost units generally mean they’re powered on and connected — but the app can give more insight into performance and connection quality.
Here’s a quick guide to the symbols:
- Green Wi-Fi symbol: Good connection and performance.
- Yellow or orange Wi-Fi symbol: Fair connection; there may be weak signal strength or interference.
- Red or no symbol: Poor or no connection.
Since you mentioned both Boosts are hardwired (which is great!), performance issues might be related to signal distribution, interference, or device placement.
