can't fast forward recorded program
New to Telus. 3 days in, I tried watching a program I had recorded. When I try to fast forward, a notice pops up on the top right of the screen saying the program does not allow fast forwarding. What...
Are you sure it was a recording? On demand shows have fast forwarding disabled by the broadcaster.
Well the note on the screen had that sort of statement, actually. I selected the program from the list and recorded it using the remote prompts. I selected that recorded program the next day. I thought I had recorded it from live TV. Ideas?

What channel were you watching/recording? There are a handful of channel providers that restrict fast-forward, even on recordings. Mediaset Italia, channel 2657, is one such example. The overwhelming majority of channels allow fast-forward on recordings, so if you share the channel we can make sure it's set up according to the provider's requirements.
