Cannot access website - traceroute attached
Hi, I am having a problem accessing my company's website from home. It's loading very slowly or not loading at all.
It's hosted by GoDaddy, talked to them, seem to be zero issues. Website traffic is very low, max 10 concurrent users. Coworkers on Shaw don't have this issue.
I did a traceroute and see a lot of timed-out nodes:
C:\Users\farho>tracert avanti.ca Tracing route to avanti.ca [148.72.99.170] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.254 2 1 ms 1 ms 2 ms 50.99.127.65 3 16 ms 16 ms 17 ms 154.11.2.83 4 * * * Request timed out. 5 82 ms 81 ms 81 ms 4.69.215.233 6 87 ms 138 ms 99 ms 4.7.49.18 7 85 ms 83 ms 84 ms ip-184-168-6-83.ip.secureserver.net [184.168.6.83] 8 * * * Request timed out. 9 * * * Request timed out. 10 * * * Request timed out. 11 * * * Request timed out. 12 * * * Request timed out. 13 73 ms * 73 ms ip-148-72-99-170.ip.secureserver.net [148.72.99.170] Trace complete.
Other websites, Netflix, YouTube are fine. Turning on a VPN with Seattle connection fixes the issues but the overall internet speed decreases.
I am in Calgary, on Telus Fiber network.

Website loads fine for me here in Edmonton. Not sure where the issue is going to be.

The home screen loads quickly for me in SE BC, but I do see a similar tracert result. Seems th Issue is with US servers along the path.
In the interim, continuing to use the VPN might be your best shot.
