With how modern devices connect and change their hardware address by default, and encrypted connections making it hard to block content on the router, it is more effective to set up restrictions on the individual device itself rather than on the router. What type of device is your child using? Computer? Tablet? Phone? Windows or Mac? Android or Apple tablet/phone?
