Ability to record daily CTV news program as a series recording (Telus TV+)

Based on a scan of similar threads, this issue was supposed to be resolved.  However, we are unable to record the daily CTV news as a series.  Or rather, we can set it up, but it disappears after a few episodes.  We are now unable to record it as a series at all.  We regularly record Global news and a number of other programs and have not had any problem at all.  I experimented with other news programs on CTV and it appears that it is only CTV News Vancouver Island that won't record as a series. The CTV News Vancouver can be recorded as a series.  Why would this be?
