Just so I'm clear (yea, I can be a touch dense😁) that's the unit that pairs with the Technicolor UIW8001 PVR?

You’ll get either boxes manufactured by technicolor or arris. All depends what they have for stock, and what they’ll set you up with. Either one is fine.
The UIW4001 pairs with UIW8001. What are you trying to accomplish?
I have a couple of universal remote hubs (Harmony companion) that I want to add the device to.
Looks like I’ll have to wait until the gear is on site, no big deal, just wanted to expedite the transition a bit.
