Winback promotion call

Hi, I got a call from 833-896-0450 regarding some winback offer from Koodo which seems to good to be true especially when I am not an existing Telus customer. They also sent a verification text message from '35353' and even email from '[email protected]'

Not sure whether this is legit or some scam. Can anyone please confirm on this.

    It is an odd email address, but I.telus.com resolves to Telus. Usually, the email would be without the I.

    I believe Amy offer too good to be true is just that, and would proceed with caution.
