Transferring Carriers
Switched from Bell to Telus yesterday and see that iPhone shows SOS only and I locked my eSIM. Will that matter or should I contact Telus?

8 months agoThanks for reaching out — welcome to TELUS! If your iPhone is showing SOS only and your eSIM is locked, that could definitely be affecting your service. We recommend reaching out to us directly so we can help get this resolved quickly.
In the meantime, here are a few things to try:
- Make sure Airplane Mode is off.
- Try a device restart.
- If you still see "eSIM locked," go to Settings > General > About — and see if there's a Carrier Lock message.
- If you have a QR code for the eSIM activation, you can try reinstalling it under Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
But if you're still stuck, please contact our support team so we can walk through the right steps together.

If it's asking for a PUK code, send us a private message and we can provide that to you.
