SMS and MMS scam messages from email addresses
Is it not possible for Telus to block scam/phishing SMS and MMS messages that come from email addresses? On an Android phone there is now way to block them because it doesn't have a phone number ass...
Related to this, is there any transparency from Telus on 7726 reporting? I report the smishing items when I get them however, a thank you that your spam message report is complete seems nice but ineffective.
Is there a facility where we can see stats or entries showing that the ones we reported are now actually blocked?
I understand there is no requirement from any governing body or CASL to publish this info however it would be appreciated to know the effort that everyone takes to report these kinds of things is working.
