Samsung S24 security updates lagging or skipped
In a day and age where security is very important, Telus is lagging to certify or skipping security updates on flagship devices from Samsung. There is no transparency whatsoever nor does the S24 appear on the Software Update Cycle page for all of November.
Should we switch to carriers that offer more timely security updates for our devices purchased directly from the manufacturer?

This may offer some insight as to the delays:
It would if other carriers wouldn't go faster. I worked in the mobile phone department of Videotron for several years and I can tell when a certification department is understaffed like at Telus.
