Neither Samsung Canada nor Telus advertise that the S25 Ultra has support for satellite.

Samsung removed bluetooth from the stylus so it's physically incapable of triggering the camera now. People have been complaining about it elsewhere online for months now.

iPhones have satellite messaging because Apple themselves partnered with a satellite provider and are not tied to any specific carrier. Apple provides two years of free satellite with the purchase of an iPhone.

Android is a fractured ecosystem and Google leaves it up to each device manufacturer what they want to do or have as features. Google expects it to be the device manufacturers working with individual carriers to arrange satellite support, test it, and then sell it. Google has their own partnership with a different satellite provider specifically for the Pixel 9 series phones but it does not include any country in North or South America. The majority are in Europe.

No Canadian carrier has a fully available satellite option for Android at this time. Rogers is the only carrier in Canada that has very recently announced having limited trial run of the satellite service for the S25 (and a couple other models), but it's in beta and you have to sign up for it. Unless you have Roger's top tier ultimate plan, satellite on its own will cost upwards of $15/month. Eventually Telus and Bell will get on board with similar offerings but I'm guessing it's a bit of a complicated process. Basically if you want established satellite that won't cost you $180 a year, you go for an iPhone.
