I have moved from telus to Koodo 2 weeks ago and have left overpaid balance on my telus account. Is it possible to receive that balance through my card instead of cheque to the address. The agent...
You will only be issued a Cheque to the address they had on file.

Yes! Once the account is closed, all of that pre-authorized payment info is removed. Cheques are the only way any company, whether it's Bell, Telus, or Rogers, will ever give a customer a refund after their account closes and the process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks after the date the account was closed.
