Possible Scam call + emails after ordering phone online?

No i had a lot more happen but it wasn't letting me post it
I had a call stating my order online for a phone and plan couldnt be mailed until additonl info was received, got a call and email, the call asked for information such as 3 digits of sin and pin number, never said what info was needed or why, all of it is a lot more than i can fit in 2100 characters, ive gotten multiple emials and texts marked as spam and such but it wouldnt let me add any photos either which is why i wanted to make a new post but it kept saying my 1900 characters spaces incl was ovwr 2100 characters
