Phone Return Issue
On October 1 got a call from telus offering to lower my senior mom mobile bill. Needless to say she ended up with the person shipping her a new phone. She received a return label and sent the phone back through purolator. Now she has a $140 month bill. (My senior mom can't afford this!) From $23 a month. I called telus on her behalf and they have not received the phone, so they won't do anything. Is there anyway to remove those charges from her account?

Telus- I had the same thing happen to me. The phone came from the same warehouse as my other equipment, but I cancelled the phone minutes after the guy called and woke me up and signed me up. I printed off the Purolator slip, but I notice the return address is a residential address in Ontario. I am obviously not shipping it there as this is obviously a scam. Where can I return this and get everything removed from my account?

I spoke to a Telus agent. He was confused by it. He spoke to a supervisor who told me to contact my bank (froze all my accounts and got a new card with new numbers), the federal antifraud line (1-888-495-8501 or https://reportcyberandfraud.canada.ca/), reset all my passwords, report it to the police, and not to send the phone I received anywhere. I called Equifax and reported it with TransUnion, and Equifax said there was an attempt from “Telus” to access my credit info on the first. This is a nightmare. I saved all my emails, took photos of everything, and am trying hard to not have any more damage happen.
