No notification sounds while on Data

10 months agoSince you’re receiving notifications with sound on Wi-Fi but not on cellular data, here are a few things to check:
1️. Check Data Saver Mode – Go to Settings > Connections > Data usage and ensure Data Saver is turned off, as this can restrict background notifications.
2️. App Battery Optimization – Go to Settings > Apps > Eufy Security > Battery, and set it to Unrestricted or Not optimized to ensure it runs properly on cellular.
3️. Do Not Disturb Mode – Double-check Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb to ensure it’s not affecting notifications when on data.
4️. App Permissions – Make sure Eufy has permission to send notifications on cellular: Settings > Apps > Eufy Security > Mobile data & Wi-Fi, and ensure Allow background data usage is enabled.
5️. Network Reset – If the issue persists, try resetting network settings: Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings (this won’t erase your data).
If none of these help, a reinstall of the Eufy Security app may be worth a try.

I did all of the above but still not working. Also, my Rogers home security system sends notifications including sound while on wifi, but no sound notifications while on cellular either. I can access the sensors while on cellular and see that door sensors triggered show up but no sound notifications. I get text notifications with sound. Wonder if its the Xfinity gateway not sending out sound notifications even though it was setup for push notifications. Rogers said to contact phone provider.
