new phone but keep existing plan
Is it possible to purchase a new phone but keep my existing plan?
If you purchase the new device outright, there shouldn't be an issue. If just renewing and getting a new device (but not fully purchasing it) it's doable if the plan you're on is still in-market (available).

Official Support TeamNot unless you purchase it outright. Getting a device on a 2 year term will require a rate plan change.
Can I purchase it outright through Telus? that's been my question the whole time 🙂

We don't sell it outright online. In stores, it's based on each store Manager's discretion.
