Same issue here in Nanaimo. The service in my area isn't great to start with, but I could manage with all my previous phones. Now with this two months old pixel 8 I cannot carry on a conversation and the mobile data doesn't work 95 percent of the time. Places in town where I can get full signal, I get very poor reception with this pixel. Switching to LTE workaround doesn't fix the problem for me.
