Is this a scam email

I just got a call from a guy purporting to be from telus (Chilliwack phone number) with a promotion they're offering loyal customers due to the fact that Telus has been loosing many customers to drop calls and poor connection. Yeah, right... Telus to offer rebates and new phones at no cost to people who didn't even ask for it. He offered $44/mth with no extra fees for 1,000GB data, unlimited Canada & US calling and texting and a new Samsung S25 Ultra, plus 3 months no payments. Sounds too good right?
He said he would not be asking for any personal info but I asked for a phone number or website or email so I can check his legitimacy. He said not to worry, he'd sent me an email with the offer and would send full documentation to my address but all he'd need was my postal code - and he'd remain on the phone while I waited for the email.
That email came from [email protected] with poor grammar so I hung up on him without saying a word.

Hello deng, you're right to be suspicious since I've never seen that plan before and normally our people will use a telus.com email and not salesperson.net . You can send a copy of your message here [email protected] and it will be investigated.
