Ghost Icon - My Telus on phone
I am unable to uninstall the My Telus app from my Samsung G23. It has not functioned since Nov 2025 when I added it. I go to log in, correct login and password, and app goes back to log in page. I log in again, and same loop.
I try to uninstall, and our won't allow. Have tried from Google, tried from phone settings. Searched and followed institutions online: disabled, cleared cache, shut down. I install it again, even though it's still on phone, update to latest version, nothing works.
How can I uninstall it from my phone?

I previously did power down my phone twice before and there was no change. I did another Disable, and then another Enable, and tried to log in again. I finally gained access to my account.
But...why doesn't the Uninstall button appear when I click the app on my phone? (every other app offers it) *Just personal apps edited out on image.
For now, I'm happy I have access, but it was a weird loop I couldn't get out of.

Thanks for the screenshot. Not sure why it wasn't working for you. As it's a carrier bundled app, it can't be deleted but can be disabled which removes it from the app drawer and prevents it from operating in the background.

My phone is a BYOD. Not a Telus phone.

There are a number of things to discuss here. First up, when was the last time you power cycled your phone? Almost always people have tried that first, but it's always worth asking. Another option would be resetting Settings (you'd need to reconfigure your Wi-Fi / Bluetooth connections after of course) as that can help as well. Yet another thing to note is that sometimes people suspect it's the app itself but it's actually a website shortcut.
Screenshots would help, would you be able to share any so we can check in with our Mobility team?
