Free Galaxy Watch 8 Promo
I joined Telus and ordered a Galaxy Flip 7 in July while there was a Promo for a Free Galaxy Watch 8 with a 2 Year Plan(additional $15 dataplan required to activate). I read that there would be an email sent out with instructions on how to redeem within 4-6 weeks of getting the phone. It's been over 6 weeks now.(July 22nd received and activated). Has this been delayed or just cancelled? It's part of the reason I decided to go with Telus.

Just spent an hour and a half on the phone with customer service and was first told that the promo ended August 8th. Okay that's fine because most of us ordered this phone promo in July. Then I'm told that they couldn't add a code for me because the promo has ended and that there was nothing they could do. From there, I'm told that I should have called in manually for them to do it but I reminded them that the fine print says THEY will contact US within 4-6 weeks with a code. As a customer, that tells me that I should wait patiently for THEM! Then they tried to offer me extra voice minutes and voicemail options instead. Seriously??
So don't expect to get your watch if you haven't yet because they clearly won't honor their promotion that we all signed up for. I told them that they have forums on different social media platforms (that I've followed and read) with a lot of unhappy and confused people. This doesn't look good on them at all and I regret moving to Telus for their "better services."

Crazy. I switched carriers for this deal. How can it be so difficult to honor.
Here are the terms, if it helps anyone. It states they'll contact you, but doesn't say how.

Offer only available with a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 or Flip7 with a 2-year TELUS Easy Payment term. Offer is available only on TELUS.com and at TELUS Corporate Stores, participating Authorized TELUS Dealers, and Customer Care. Subject to approved credit with a 24-month TELUS Easy Payment® agreement (0% APR) on any in-market plan with data included. TELUS Easy Payment® balance will be repaid over a 24 month period via equal monthly payments. Payment of any outstanding TELUS Easy Payment® balance due upon termination, or account transfer. Applicable taxes are calculated based on the total no term price less any device discounts and must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Pay-per-use charges (including long distance, roaming and additional airtime or data) are extra. A monthly mobility rate plan is charged in addition to the 24-month Easy Payment plan. Samsung Galaxy Watch8 is $0 upfront plus tax and $00.00/month on a 2-year TELUS Easy Payment plan. Once the purchase price has been paid, the watch plan service will continue on a month-to-month basis without the monthly device charge for the watch. A $15/mo monthly watch rate plan is charged in addition to the 24-month Easy Payment plan. Customer will receive a notification with instructions on how to redeem the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 offer within 4 to 6 weeks after receiving the mobile device. Watch8 monthly device discount can only be used towards the Samsung Galaxy Watch8, is non-refundable and carries no cash value.

I'm also still waiting and am constantly checking for any emails or even offers in the Telus app. I keep hearing that people are calling Telus and the agents are stating they don't even know of this promo. This has to be a joke, right? Lol. It was the reason I upgraded to this phone as the deal was great for me coming from an iPhone and Apple Watch. But it was 100% a thing and I know that if people did the upgrade promo in-store, people were walking out with both the phone and watch.
There are clearly a lot of us that know of this promo and are waiting so I'm hopeful that the codes get sent soon?

In the same boat as you. I was promised a watch when i ordered Flip 7, I was told a link will be emailed to me in 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I called multiple times , agents say they have no idea if there was a promotion as such. Most funny part was when they told me that they would never email out links to claim the watch as it was not how they worked.

I'm in the same boat. I actually called shortly after receiving the phone and was told I would get a code within 6 weeks. It hasn't been 6 weeks for me yet (That'll be the 20th), but this post isn't inspiring confidence.

Are you a brand new customer or has it been 90 days since you closed a previous account. Log into your telus account to see what offers are on your account

I'm new to Telus. For lack of a better term, I 'upgraded' from Koodo to Telus. Partially because of this offer.
No offers in My Telus.
