Family plans after death of account holder

If I'm on my moms family plans which I pay and she passes away, what happens to the plan? Does it transfer over in my name?

  • My condolences to all but the original poster who was asking WHEN, that led me to read mom is still alive.

    seanb just keep paying the bill. You do not need to do anything until you want to close the account. JMO

    Hi seanb - First we are sorry to hear about her passing. The normal process here would be to contact us with the death certificate and then open an account under your name and perform a transfer of ownership. We'll send you a private message for further help

      How is an individual able to remove some services from a deceased individual's account??

      Email is still required, however all other services need to be cancelled.

        Generally speaking, the ask is usually to cancel everything but by retaining the email service, there is a little added complexity to the process. We'll send a private message your way so you're not chasing down the right department for this. Please keep an eye out for a PM from us 🙂
