eSim

Hi all, I am living out of Canada right now. I just purchased a new iphone not realising there is no sim card tray. Getting an eSim sent to me is problematic to say the least. I am paying for my Telus line but can't use it. As I have an active account with a number I have had since Callnet, why can't I get an eSim Q code, tied to my number,  electronically sent to me?

Thank you

As a Canadian company providing service for our customers here (or temporarily away), our options may be limited due to fraud prevention measures. You could always ask someone here in Canada to get an eSIM and send you the details. Also of note of course, is that using a TELUS line outside of the country, especially for a longer time, would incur higher roaming fees.

Thanks for the reply. Do o just order an eSIM voucher through the Telus app and that would be tied to my number?

For security reasons, we mail the eSIM voucher to ensure a secure activation process. Once you receive the voucher, you can scan the QR code and follow the instructions to activate it on your device.
