Door to Door sales for third party Telus mobility?
Hi there, is there door to door sales happening in Burlington, Ontario by a third-party Telus company? We had someone come by selling internet and phone packages. No website we could visit for more info. We would have to sign up on the spot and replace our current SIM cards with theirs. No way of checking them out. Didn't give a company name. She was wearing a Telus jacket. Scam?
We have teams canvassing communities throughout Ontario. Here's an article that covers what to look for in legitimate door to door reps. I should add that they always carry ID which is to be produced when asked for.
