Can I keep my out of province number if I upgrade my phone

Number is from Alberta now reside in Ontario. Can I keep my Alberta number if I upgrade my phone? It’s too much of an issue to change numbers.

Depending, you might have to purchase in store. In which province is your billing address? An online purchase would be shipped there.
