Called by 780 373 5837
This number called me about 5 minutes ago and was very confused. Said hello, claimed they were from Telus, asked how I was doing, I replied "doing ok" and then they hung up. Seems unlikely to be a real number from Telus, and just wanted to verify

Nighthawk is correct, this was most likely not legitimate. You did the right thing flagging it however, and we advise to let us know when/if you receive any further contacts if you'd like to verify their authenticity!
