Call from Telus? 1-833-323-3363
Got a phone call from 1-833-323-3363. It came up on my phone as "Telus" but also "suspected spam". I answered and said "Hello" and no one responded for 3-4 seconds. Having worked in a call center, I know that pause is the system connecting my call to an agent who previously did not have my information prepped. As I always do with this case, I hung up the phone. But as I removed the phone from my ear, I heard someone speaking French saying "Bonjour . . . bonjour?"
They called back 5 minutes later. I let it ring and go to voicemail but they must have hung up (or likely the automated system hung up when the voicemail greeting activated) because there was no subsequent message left for me.
Is this legit call from Telus?

Hello DMac9999, with all the active spams and the "spoofing" technology, it's really hard to confirm if that call was legit or not. You can always do a Google search about it but whenever in doubt, just hang-up and call TELUS back. If you do answer and speak with someone, never give them your personal information and again, don't take any chances.
