Telus Business Wifi - 2.4ghz mode
Telus business wifi - using business meraki and direct router portal
Need to set up dedicated 2.4ghz band for smart things in office.
Support ticket portal is broken, will not allow a ticket to be generated.
Both Meraki and router portal do not have an option for this to be turned on.

Yes, this is where I went to try and complete this task. However Telus has locked my meraki down to nothing. The attached is all I have

Can you try these steps to configure your 2.4GHz Band?
In the Meraki Dashboard Navigate to Wireless > Configure > SSIDs
Create a new SSID specifically for IoT devices (e.g., "Office-IoT-2.4GHz")
In the SSID settings, look for:Band Selection → Set to 2.4 GHz only
802.11 Protocol → Ensure 802.11b/g/n is enabled
Configure security (WPA2/WPA3) and other settings as needed
Save and deployIt would be nice if this were possible, however as per the original post, Telus does not seem to allow for this. The only option is as shown in the other user's screenshot which is Network > Wireless Settings and then the only things we can do there is:
- turn on additional SSIDs as guest networks
- update SSID name and enable/disable it
- set encryption / password
- set a splash page
There is no option to set band selection and turn off smart steering for example.
Is it possible for you to unlock the fully featured Cisco Meraki dashboard instead of this locked down Telus version that has less configuration options for a business than a home internet user would have with their modem?
