Telus marketer comes up as spam caller
The same spam number kept calling me. I finally answered and it is a telus telemarketer. As soon as I mentioned that a telus caller shouldn't come up as spam on a telus phone he changed it to Telus in my call display. I have asked many times for telus to stop calling with offers as in this day and age you can't take an offer from a spam caller. Why does telus insist on constantly hassling their good customers. The number was 866-558-4147

Any number can be spoofed, so even if they're claiming to be from TELUS, it's unfortunately not always the case. As always we recommend to never give out any personal or account info and reach out to our teams directly to inquire about the authenticity of any contacts you may receive.
- Can you confirm for me whether this is a valid telus telemarketing number? They had a lot of information about my account. It is unlikely for the same number to be calling daily and for other people online to be saying it's a telus caller if it is a spoofed number.

Actually it still could be, as many numbers, including toll free numbers commonly used/known, are spoofed. This definitely sounds like it was not legitimate. To confirm, you can always contact our Mobility team directly and have them confirm with our outbound team.
