Stingray Music channel

My stingray music channel disappeared recently. I had uploaded the app to my phone, used my Telus account to sign in and today I notice I am no longer subscribed and need to pay for the app on my phone. What happened here? I have a music video station for kids. I'm retired. Why delete channels and not notify us? I get junk mail every day and didn't learn my basic package was changed.  Did anyone else loose Stingray music, not the video channel 

  • Can you try to delete the app and re-download. This always helps with our 3rd party apps with TELUS log in credentials.

  • Thank you. Reloading Stingray Music successfully accepted the Telus account.

    I should have tried that first!

      Good morning from Kitimat BC

      I have a two year contract with Telus Optik where Stingray was in my programming. The station is so good, I downloaded the Stingray app and used my Telus account for the services. This worked for a year, but now the channel selection has disappeared from the programming.

      After carefully scanning my guide I learn that Stingray Music has been replaced with Stingray videos on a youth channel.

      I would like to know why. I absolutely loved using the genre selection. Sometimes I tuned into radio stations across country. It's a fabulous option.

      When my app on my phone reverted back to advertising, my Telus password and email no longer worked. I seriously miss the Telus programme offered, Stingray Music.

  • I do not subscribe but 585 does work. Seems like you lost the subscription
