Remove Telus announce message, Billing information unavailable
I have been trying to change the announce greeting on my cordless phone/answering machine. I successfully have re-recorded the message but each time someone calls they receive the old message. I was feeling the phone was faulty. But after checking the internet it seems that the message has been saved on the Telus server and not on the machine. How do I get rid of this message? I am changing to another provider. Will this finally get rid of the info?
I am changing to Shaw/Rogers because I have been unable to get my bills online. I have spent over 10 hrs on calls with agents in the Philippines. Each time I call they say the issue is resolved. But when I open my Telus account online I receive the same message, “we are sorry but we are unable to locate your billing information. Try again later”. This has been over a month.
So disappointing to see a company that once great to become an embarrassment to Canadians. The worst service imaginable!

Hi Exasperated - Have you tried rebooting the device? turn on and off and unplug?
