Hi Everyone,
We had purefibre installed on Friday and the speeds have been amazing. I just moved my office into the basement near the modem and now my internet speeds are half of what they used to be when I was upstairs.
Any tips or ideas on how to get better speeds, when I am just a few feet away from the modem?

ok nevermind on this. I took my laptop upstairs and did a speed test and it is the same as it is downstairs. My question now is, how can i get amazing wifi speeds on my phone but not on my laptop?

Possibly your laptop doesn't support newer wi-fi standards? Here is a chart of speeds for the various types of wi-fi:
Liliannsmama Could be your laptop (old age) and wifi driver not up to date. Just retired my old lap (5 Years) it would lock on the 5ghz with weak signal and would not go to 2 ghz where it was strong. Old lap the hinges broke opened close many time a day New lap is way faster.
