Physical cabling for Telus PureFibre

So I've just had a sales rep visit my home and I've agreed to have Telus PureFibre brought into the home to replace the existing Shaw (Rogers) Internet service.

The lower floor of this home is finished and I'm worried about the Telus installers' ability to bring the new fibre to my telecom closet where the rest of my networking is.

If I wanted to do my own "inside wiring" from the existing demark boxes near my front door to my telco closet what do I need? Is this conventional Singlemode or Multimode fiber, or is it something exotic? Does it use the LC-LC connectors I'm familiar with or something else?
