Partial control with Telus remote on LG TV
I've set up my Telus TV+ (android box) with an LG smart tv. The odd thing is, the Telus remote will control everything other than the on/off of the LG tv. Spent some time on the phone with a Telus tech. We reset the remote, unpaired and paired the remote with no success.
Telus sent out another remote. I unpaired the old remote, removed the batteries, installed batteries in the new remote and paired the new remote. Still have the same issue.
Has anyone experienced this or have any idea for a solution?

There are a number of codes to try with LG televisions. Have you tried all of the following:

I tried all these codes. Now the Telus remote will turn the tv on and off but will not control the volume.
I went through the settings on the Android box to program remote with tv and the volume buttons work at that point. When I continue, the remote no longer controls the volume. Hmmm...
