Optik box not working...

It was working fine until a few days ago. I've tried everything I can find on this subject: rebooted; replaced batteries in remote; factory reset the box, triple-checked the cable connections, bought a new remote, tried connecting to a different HDMI point.

I've just wasted an hour of my time on hold, then finally gave up.

To call this frustration is an understatement.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I finally received a replacement power cord 2 days ago. This is the solution to my issue. Thank you all -- you have been far more help than Telus itself.

I am waiting for a replacement power cable. Meanwhile, I'm paying for a service I cannot use.

waiting is your choice. Amazon delivers within 2 days in most places.

I requested a couple of replacement power adapters through the Telus support here in the forums. Once they got all my info the adapters were delivered the next day, even though they said it would be 3-5 business days. The support here is 100% better than phone or chat.

Just search here for all the discoveries about the power cord failure. Yes the light is on but not enough power to connect internet to the TV tuner.

The remote flashes white, and no buttons appear to be working. I cannot control my TV with the remote. The TV screen shows it cannot find the input.

When you say not working, can you provide more detail? Is there no signal on the TV? Is there something displayed on the screen like an error or anything from the box itself? Is the set top box connected by ethernet or is it wireless?
