Modem Replacement Through Telus

Hi folks,

I had the older white wifi hub, but ended up needing to be replaced by Telus due to equipment failure. To my surprise, they replaced it with the even older T3200. Is this normal practice? I was expecting to get the newer WiFi 6E hub. Appreciate any thoughts or experiences others have had.
