Home Phone Voice Mail Time Off
For some time now I have noticed that the time stamp on my voice mails is out by exactly one hour. Can anyone offer an explanation? TIA

Hey sgwade56 - The most common reason your voicemail timestamp is off by exactly one hour is a Daylight Saving Time (DST) synchronization error between your phone, your network carrier, and their voicemail servers.
That was my first thought, however, this is a TELUS Home Phone land line and my handsets all show the proper time.

Hmm, I'm also thinking it could be because of a mismatch between your area code and the regional time zone configured on TELUS's network server, or a failure to properly recognize Daylight Saving Time.
