Telus Promotion Plan
I've received a call from "Telus Rep", offering a plan for $265/month (including taxes) for 6 lines. The offer includes a free iPhone 16 for each line, 100 GB of data per line, unlimited talk and text within Canada and the U.S., and 1,000 long-distance minutes. I asked them to send me an email for more details, and the email they sent came from [email protected].
This deal sounds too good to be true — is it possibly a scam?
Yes, this is a scam. The email address [email protected] is not associated with TELUS, and the offer you've described is not something we currently provide. Scammers often use too-good-to-be-true deals to trick customers into sharing personal information or money. We strongly recommend:
- Not responding to the email or sharing any personal details.
- Blocking the number that called you.
