telus chinese voice department
I just got a phonecall from telus (8665582273). I picked it up and it said it was from telus chinese voice department, followed by some chinese message (I dont speak chinese). What is this about? If it's scam, why was it from telus number??

My daughter received a call from the same number but she didn't answer it. The call passed Call Control so a real person must have made the call. Was it a real person or a recorded message?
Globally accepted numbers, such as Telus callback numbers, aren't required to pass call control voice prompts.
If 8665582273 is a globally accepted number, then any scammer can spoof that outbound caller ID and bypass call control, unfortunately.
