Private Number 2
My boyfriend has his number blocked to show no caller ID when calling someone however every once in awhile when he calls me it'll shows up as "Private Number 2" I'm just curious as to why that happens sometimes

It may well depend on the equipment the call is routed through to arrive at your phone. Since, to my knowledge, Telus does not offer caller ID (a name associated with a number), most calling numbers are recognized by the receiving phone by a lookup in your contacts list
While I don't think it's enabled by default, at least it wasn't on any of mine, I do have enabled it on my lines. Have a look at Outbound Calling Name Display. The add-on shows on my lines as "Outbound Calling Name Display" at $0.00.
