I'm gonna want my time back

Shortly:

 

Telus Device contract Oct 11 2020 - Oct 11 2022

Telus Device balance Sept 11 2022 - 0.00

Telus bill Sept 18 2022 still charging for the fully paid device.

 

Is this extra charge happening because the contract end-date runs beyond the fully paid date? This date discrepancy hasn't happened to me before; always the bill following the fully paid status has automatically dropped the device amount. I have a support call-back for this morning to get some clarification. The hassle of that is annoying. There has to be a better way. Maybe I'll go bug them on Twitter. ðŸ˜€
