I cancelled my plan and hopped on my gfs plan b/c it was cheaper. Was told telus would add remainder of account balance to new bill. That didn't happen and now I've had to pay the outstanding and have a late payment. Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm, that's odd. Have you spoken with our Mobility team about this so they could investigate?
