Telus Business Wifi - 2.4ghz mode

Telus business wifi - using business meraki and direct router portal

Need to set up dedicated 2.4ghz band for smart things in office. 

Support ticket portal is broken, will not allow a ticket to be generated.

Both Meraki and router portal do not have an option for this to be turned on.

    Yes, this is where I went to try and complete this task. However Telus has locked my meraki down to nothing. The attached is all I have

    Hi,

     

    That doesn't seem to be an option in my Meraki account

    Can you try these steps to configure your 2.4GHz Band?

     

    In the Meraki Dashboard Navigate to Wireless > Configure > SSIDs
    Create a new SSID specifically for IoT devices (e.g., "Office-IoT-2.4GHz")
    In the SSID settings, look for:

    Band Selection → Set to 2.4 GHz only
    802.11 Protocol → Ensure 802.11b/g/n is enabled
    Configure security (WPA2/WPA3) and other settings as needed
    Save and deploy
