  • Great offer, but sadly I didn't look closely enough. I was already subscribed to Discovery Plus and Netflix premium, so the bundle is a no brainer for me. However, I now realize that this bundle is for the ad supported level of Discovery+!  So now my discovery account has been downgraded.

     

    The bundle is still worth it to me, even if I can pay the extra $2 for no ads, but I see no way to upgrade and pay the difference. Is there a way to do so? I wish that had been a little more clear. 

     

    Also, should I decide to cancel, will that be as seamless as the activation was? ie: will my accounts remain intact, with profiles, viewing history, etc.

    Holmes108  Hey! Great questions! As of right now at launch there are unfortunately no variations of Stream+ tiers in order to upgrade one particular streaming service within, but our team is definitely aware of that and looking into options for the future.

     

    As for cancelling the Stream+ package, you'd obviously no longer have access to the streaming accounts through TELUS and subscriptions may automatically renew with the streaming service provider if your previous method of payment is still on that account and up to date. Otherwise, you may have to update your payment info with them to resume service as before. With respect to billing, you'd be charged a prorated amount starting from the first day of your billing cycle up until the day you stopped the service.

    discovery+ 

    Apple TV+ customers will get an email automatically from Apple notifying them that their previous Apple TV+ plan will be resumed and billed by them.

  • Just wondering about billing. If I just paid for Netflix and Apple for this month on my existing subscriptions, and then I sign up for this, then will the amounts be prorated, or will I be stuck paying twice for the first month (once with Netflix and then again with Telus?) Thanks.

  • Question. I just signed up for telus 3 Fibre, and I ended up getting a call from a solicitor offering me THIS exact package above same $26, I said sure, ok, he said I'll send you an email with a link. He never asked for an email address which also led me to believe the call was legit. Fast forward 3 days and still no email and when I looked into streaming plus it takes me to a page with Netflix, disney (which I'm supposed to be getting free for a year anyway) amazon prime and some tv shows which look worse than cbc stuff for $38 wth? :@0
