Looking for ways to save on your home insurance? As a TELUS SmartHome Security customer, you may be eligible to receive a discount on your home insurance ranging from 5% to 20% depending on your insurance provider¹. To take advantage of these potential savings, you may be asked to provide a TELUS insurance certificate as proof that the system installed in your home is monitored by TELUS. 

 

The following monitored plans are eligible to receive a TELUS insurance certificate:

• Secure
• Secure + Video
• Control
• Control + Video

 

How to find your insurance certificate 

 

If you are new to the TELUS SmartHome Security family, you should have received your insurance certificate via email following the installation of your monitored system, if applicable to your plan. Check your email account associated with your My TELUS account. 

 

If you cannot find your insurance certificate, here is how you can request it, if applicable to your plan:

• If you are in BC, AB or SK, please call 1-855-255-8828
• If you are in MB, ON or Maritimes, follow these 4 easy steps to receive your insurance certificate within 24 hours:
• Log into your My TELUS account
• Select “Safety”
• Select “Request Insurance Certificate” under Popular Resources
• Confirm email address is correct and click “Request certificate”

 

As a friendly reminder, save the insurance certificate email for future reference.
