Santa Is Coming To SmartHome!

With the holiday season soon approaching, it’s time for SmartHome Santa to make his way back into town and spread some holiday cheer!  With our TELUS SmartHome Security app, you can place jolly ol’ St. Nick right onto your security footage and see the magic of Santa roaming around your home.

From December 6 until December 31, users of the SmartHome Mobile App on iOS or Android can now open a camera feed and watch as jolly ol’ St. Nick moves throughout the home, leaving gifts and stuffing stockings. It’s a delightful way to share the magic of the season with your friends and family while ensuring your home is snug and secure.

What’s unique about this experience is that you can choose between a variety of Santa images available, and customize where you would like Santa to appear in your cameras, in addition you can select day & night images – to make the moment even more magical for your family!

Here’s how to set it up

Once you have the SmartHome Mobile App installed on your device, you can simply follow these 3 steps:

1. Select a Live Video feed & tap the Santa icon to take a snapshot
2. Add one of the Santa images, resizing or moving him as needed, in addition to choosing the day/night filter
3. Share the image with friends and family or on social media using  #HoHoHomeSecurity
